Default Bent Mesh Wheel can it be fixed?

I have a mesh wheel. The tire ran over a rock and bubbled the outer side wall and bent the outer lip a little bit, the tire still holds air on the bead, BUT the tire is unsafe to drive on. Does anyone know if I can just get a new tire and be alright? Or is it melt down and say goodbye?

it shouldn't be too bad, I bent one of my buddy clubs like that, and it still holds air.. try it, and see if it works. it won't blow out or anything. the worse that it either doesn't hold air at all, or it'll leak slowly..

I know theres a place here in ohio that fixes rims like that. There should be around you as well. Thats a minor bend. I barely went off the side of the road one night and egg shaped one of my wheels. Took it to the shop and they bent it out for 80 bucks. Couldnt even tell it was bent on the balancer!

I took out 2 rims on my eclipse on a pot hole, I took pictures and a day later they had the street closed and repaved it. The city attorny said that they admit that the street was in bad shape and agreed to replace the wheels and tires, when they took the report they came to realize that where it happened was RIGHT over the border to the next town and they were not at fault, so they said I would have to start the process all over.. take in mind this was about a year and 5 months later! so I just said **** it and took the $600.00 hit.
I couldn't wait another year for the city's insurance company to get off their *** and give a new report etc..

No f---ing way. Send it to the professionals. They advertise in the back of automotive magazines and I'm sure a Google search would turn something up.
