Default b16a turbo

who here has done a b16a turbo setup. i just wunna kno how they are and how much work u have to put into it

I've put together a few turbo Bseries setups. They're surprisingly simple as compared to a lot of other cars on the market. You'll find all the information you need to know in the Forced Induction forum here on Honda-Tech.

yea, i hear that u have to rebuild the b16a in order for it to handle turbo because of the high compression ratio

Not true. I've seen stock B16's hold as much as 10 psi. Of course this is with excellent tuning.

well ijust swapped the motor myself and i plan on boostin, what kinda tuning do u suggest?

Tuning u probably cant do because of experiance and a dyno and the tools. but ya more power to ya if u have another motor lying around!!!

Turbo SI.... hmmm i wish i had a turbo Bus Pass right now... stupid a$s slow LS !!!

I believe when he asked "what tuning do you reccommend?", that he meant what type of fuel management do you reccommend......

If that's your question, then i'd say either hondata or uberdata. You can get a MUCH better tune than you can w/ VAFC or w/ a shity FMU
