Damn, it would have been easier to tell with it out. I forgot how to tell if it has LSD with the tranny on that's why. I am sure someone knows on here, it just hasn't hit me.

Unless it was removed, then it should be LSD, mine had the same thing. Looks like someone got a punch and stamped LSD on it right?

If you remove the axles and can see straight through the tranny it has LSD. If there is a big bar in between, that means no LSD. You may want another opinion to back this one up cause I am only 90% sure.

I do remember him saying something like that. I did more searching and found out that since it is stamped with lsd on the top then its lsd.

Does factory lsd make that much more of a difference?

Well yeah, I knew that way but I believe there is another easier way to check without removing axles.

I thought that if you have the front wheels jacked up off the ground and you spin one wheel with your hand, the other tire would spin the opposite direction if you dont have LSD. They would spin the same direction if you DID have LSD. I could be wrong but for some reason that's what I remember hearing.

If it was me I'd just go do a fat burnout and count the stripe(s) on the pavement

Funny thign is that my friend took off and left 2 stripes on the ground once on his non-LSD tranny.

Yeah, there's always that chance.. I'd just do the wheel spin test and see which way the other wheel spins if you dont wanna pop the axles out to look through the diff.
