Do you need a boost gauge if you run off the WG???
I was planning on installing and street tuning my turbo setup this weekend, but now my boost gauge is messed up and I have to send it back to Autometer. Im thinking about going through with the install and tuning without a boost gauge. Will this be OK, if I run directly off the spring of the WG will there be any chance of boost spikes?
You should ALWAYS run a reliable boost gauge, no matter what. Never know when something goes wrong. How you gonna know if your WG starts to stick etc.?
Yeah thats what I thought. Its just that I had planned on installing and tuning it this weekend, but now I gotta wait 2 weeks to get ithe gauge back from Autometer.

Very true. Or know when your creaping? You don't want to be doing that

unless you run boost peak/hold readings via boost gauge or controller, you can't capture every reading. - peaknhold will ensure you know when it spikes.
you can purchase gauge for $20, some while ago there was a buy on spearco mech. gauge.
