decent brake upgrade for my teg?
my brakes are totally shot!!!
i need to do something about it.........i was thinking brand new AutoZone rotors...on all 4's and some AXXIS Ultimate pads...anyone dissagree?

autozone blanks will be as good as any other rotor out there, and you can get a set for $85.
as for pads, if you want an upgrade, sont get an OEM replacement, get somthing like the axxis as you mentioned, or greenstuff. there are alot of options, but it pretty much breaks down to 3 categories.
1. if it's daily driven (some pads [racing pads] need to be warmed up, you just wont be able to drive and be at full braking performance
2. then theres the "performance" pads that dont need to be heated to be at 100%, but will be alot better than OEM pads
3. then the OEM/OEM replacement... eh you get the idea, those will always be at 100%, but will obviously not be an upgrade.
and a certain brake fluid wont really inprove braking, but do replace it, and if you have some more cash, SS lines

ya i think i'll go with AutoZone rotors and AXXIS pads...considering i don't race...and not trying to spend a ton on brakes right now.
