Default HX wheels should just bolt on... right!?

I picked up a set of HX wheels, and was about to mount them, but the wheels wouldnt fit on the front axles. The inside of the wheel rubs on the caliper.. Im trying to install them on a 94 Civic ex 4-door.. is there anything else i can do other than wheel spacers??

I've heard of people grinding down the calipers a bit.

You can grind down the rotors..I wouldn't recemmend spacers. Using them leaves only a couple threads left holding the lugs on, thus risking your rim falling off during hard turns. There was a good write up someone did a while back where he installed HX rims on a blue 99/00 SI.. try searching for that.

HX wheels are 13" and HX's come with smaller rotors and calipers.

The EX isn't meant to have them on. So no, they shouldn't bolt right on.

Using a washers as wheel spacers is pretty unsafe. Just sand the caliper down some. It takes 5minutes.

I wouldn't take that route.

Use a proper spacer, not washers.

just grind down the caliper a little bit. its so easy and will take 5 minutes. dont bother with spacers and all that. search for a post made by rainmanek he did a step by step post.
