with LSD, will the tires still churp gears?
LSD= limited slip differential.
Wether or not you will still chirp gears depends on a ton of things including your tires, your clutch, how much power you make, etc, etc. Nobody can answer this.

i understand what ur saying, but if im churping second now for instance, now i install an LSD, will that eliminate the wheel spin

a lsd wont make your tire to ground grip any better

i am in the process of installing one myself so my thinking is that it wont chirp as much cause both will have to spinn. but if you have the power they will. the point is to spin both and not one with lsd

its makes since to me now, thanks guys
- it will decrease the wheel spin since the wheels move equally however its not a traction control and with enough power it will spin

my question is why would you want to chirp your tires?
this is a result of lost traction which is poor for acceleration.

i dont, i want traction

It all depends. You say nothing about your setup.
If you are chripping a tire now since all the power goes to the right front, and you get wheel spin out of just one tire, then I'd say a LSD would probably help since you put the load to both wheel, which would help reduce the chirp, but if your making power, like with a turbo, it might not eliminate it.
I used to have traction and torque steer problems before my LSD, and now its a lot better with the LSD, but I still get wheel spin on occasion. Traction in corners is greatly improved.

im sorry sir but you have sadly been mistaken
not physically but it will transfer power to both wheels instead of one making you have two tires gripping the groung instead of one

uhhh
i dont get where your coming from???? physicly it wont make your tires any grippier. so i would say that his statement was correct.
my opinion you will always chirp with a good clutch and shift. lsd or not the chirp comes from you shifting and the motor not being in sync with the rest of the car for a split second.

You are correct, a LSD doesn't make your TIRE grip any better.
BUT!
It will distribute the power between them. With the LSD, it really easy to brake loose the right front tire. Once that tire slips, its all over since the left one wont have any torque going to it. With a LSD you get torque to both wheels, and it takes more effort to brake the tires loose, in conditions where you'd normally get the right front tire spin.
I personally love how much more power you can put down in corners! Huge difference there.

but you normaly dont chirp tires while goin around corner's. its straight line acceleration that this usually occurs.
now that i look more closely at the original question i see what he wants. no you will still chirp tires even with an lsd.

Depends on your power level. I did with my turbo setup before the LSD. Or anytime I wasn't going in exactly in a straight line.

You have to split the transmission case to change out the diff, and reshim it. I had the transmission rebuilder install mine, cost $100 to install the diff.

With a GSR swap, bolt-ons and a GSR factory equipped LSD tranny, I can still spin the tires pretty good into 2nd and chirp 3rd.
An LSD allows a little bit of slip before it puts more power to the other wheel. Maybe some of the more expensive aftermarket LSD's will keep the power more equal to both wheels, I'm not sure about that.
In the corners though, it helps out a lot. When exiting a corner under power, instead of smoking the inside tire and getting a massive amount of understeer, you'll be able to keep traction and help rotate the car much better.

i have an engine/tranny from a 94 LS in my civic.. but when i lock the ebrake and dump it.. both tires start smoking right away.. wouldn't it be a one wheel peel? when i dump it from a roll.. i leave 2 patches not one... (hopeing maby someone replaced the tranny with a LSD equipped one)
