Default B18c5 block w/ B16a2 head ?

I have 2000 PY ITR but the head has been resurfed to many time i have valve clearance problems. was wondering if this set up will lower my compression?

a b16a2 head is the same head as the ITR...

the ITR one just comes with some mild porting from the factory

other than that, its the same "PR3"
