Default Oakley's new boot

Anyone worn these yet?
Im worried their "comfort sole" will axe any pedal feel.

I'm thinkin about scoring a pair. They look pretty bling bling! downside is that they are selling for around 250 a pair!

you gotta be kidding.

I use a $25 pair of wrestling shoes for drivers ed. I actually like them better than my OMP shoes (which cost about half what those pimpy oakleys cost). For racing I have to use the OMPs though

Anyone else remember the $19 Dale Jarrett Nike pit crew shoes from a few years back?

Worthless for driving, great for the garage.

I wonder how their market will be for these.
maybe oakley gloves/helmets and suits to follow?

The shoe looks badass though which is usually -3secs per lap :-)

For the track I have G-Force shoes because they are good, comfy (7 out of 10) and well priced.... but for track days and non-competition I use indoor soccer shoes.

Those Oakley shoes def. look like they've got too much rubber on the bottom for technical driving. But, then again, can't tell for sure just by looking at a picture.

Oakley supplies our Special Forces with these boots... thats what they are designed for. I have heard from a top source at Oakley that they will allso be introducing a new line of fireproof underwear that is suppose to breath great I also thought i heard something about coming out with their own line of suits also

These run about $75. Look like a good shoe for lapping/track days/drivers ed etc...

Hmm wonder if you can get those in Hoosier soles instead...

I just got a pair of these... haven't used them in a cross yet, but the pedal feel is nice and the soles are really grippy on the pedals, must be all that good year engineering

i trust and love all of the oakley glasses.. but NOOO, not shoes..
I got X-metal juliet(for its cool factor), M-Frame(cycling), Goggle(war games) now..

and alot more like subzeros, skins, razorblades, T-wire, and eye jackets are in my collection..

and NO. i will never buy an oakley product thats NOT eyewear..

anyway, i got those sparco/puma shoes for "driving" days.. pedal feel is strong..

Yea, I got a pair that after two years of hard abuse, I am looking to replace . I wore the bottoms out on these. They held up amazing. I would still be wearing them if the rubber didn't wear out. The seude is still in good condition it hides oil and dirt really well . for blue suede shoes.
