I have a 90 si with the pr3 b16. My car has both o2 sensors ran off the run before the cat. Is this bad? Don't mean to steal the post or anything.
Thanks

that will work, but isn't "ideal". you may run rich or lean on 1 or 2 cyl's.

PR3 ECU can run on 1 O2 without throwing any codes. Just hook up the primary o2. Ask me how I know

ok guys.. the ECU uses 1 o2 sensor to monitor a/f mixture in 2 of the 4 cyl. that's why they are seperate.

1 o2 monitors 1 & 4 the other monitors 2 & 3.

I will find out the exact A/F when I hit the dyno, for now it seems to be running fine, I get an average of 30 MPG.

I always thought the pr3 needed two o2's to run without throwing a code, but I guess not because I only have the 1 primary o2 hooked up and it doesn't throw any codes.

Maybe the pw0 needs 2 and the pr3 needs one without throwing a code? Thats the only thing I can think of...

just because your not thorwing a code, does not mean that your car is working properly. Either drill the holes and make room for the new bung, or convert to obd1. If it's ment to have 2 it needs 2. The only time it will work is when your in WOT just because its open loop.
