headlight aiming for 2002 V6
hey guys...i was wondering how I could adjust my headlight aim on my 2002 V6 without having to go to mechanic as stated in the manual. I got into a little accident and never corrected it...it's been bothering me a lot recently since i've been doing a bunch of night driving. THX. be sure to be specific cuz ive never really messed around with my car cept for changing light bulbs which dont even really count...
i was just about to ask the same thing. my headlight was damage in a hit and run parking lot incident. and i brought these aftermarket "TYC i believe" stock looking ones. my passenger side light shoots the floor and i want to aim it higher but dont know how. anyone know?
thanks
thanks
There are 2 or 3 screws located on the back side of the housing. Depending on the direction i.e. clockwise, or counter...the beam will either move to the right/left, or up/down.
Hope it helps

There should be a horizontal and a vertical screw I believe on the 6th gens. I know on my 4th gen there is just 1 screw that if you tighten it the headlight goes up and vice versa.
I believe if you are looking at the headlight try looking right by the headlight head on to see if there are any screws/bolts to adjust (hood up) if not look where the bulbs go there should be an adjuster there
