just picked up a 92 si hatch for $500..........

just tryin to get some opinions here, i just got the car from a friend for $500. It has a JDM D16z with aem intake and dc header, greddy exhaust, otherwise the car is stock, and runs great. the interior, is great condition, no rips but some cig burns......has a cd player. The exterior needs some work, new fenders, a hood, windshield, front bumper cover, and some new corner lights. All in all i think i got a pretty good deal, considering i can fix the body work for less then what i paid for the car. im gonna daily drive it for awhile, then consider swapping my engine from the integra into the hatch, i need somethin with better gas milage its a hike to get to work and back......

im thinking about just putting my Turbo Ls engine into it, the only thing is im gonna have to get 3 inch exhaust for the car, redo all the intercooler pipes, and get a new fuel pump, but i think its a good possibility that may happen in the end, Full Drag EG??????

BTW a D16Z6 engine came stock in that car, and is not JDM.

You can only find JDM D16Z6's on egay if you know what I mean...

yea thats not the engine that came in the car, the guy had it swapped..... im pretty sure its jdm, any sure way to tell?????

Look at the block code to see what motor it is... JDM motor is the D15b

if the engine code says D16Z6, then it's not JDM

The Block Says "ZC" on it, im assuming this is JDM........ yay im cool now
