vacume has a small part of it i think. I mean the ecu tells it when to open.

I zipted mine open (i'm assuming) and gained .5 sec in the 1/4. I **** you not.
i had run 14 flat all day. a friend suggested i ziptie the 2ndaries open. 10¢ later 13.5 consistant.

the butterflys are open when the motors off but when you start it they shut from the engines vacum, and btw the gsr manifold is the only one that will fit the gsr unless you get an aftermarket one.
I will be sure to test that out
when i install my kit.
I'll also do a dyno test of the skunk2 IM vs GSR with butterlies vs GSR with ziptie open...
it should be interesting which will have more power topend as well as under the powerline.

ANYONE MUST KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!!
</TD></TR></TABLE>
what do you want to know. they open at 5800 and there there to increase low to mid end torque. if you want them opened all the time pull the vacum line of and plug it, they will be open at all times. and as far as increasing track times, ive heard both ways. however i dont see how it could increase times, when your reducing torque

Torque will be loss... But would the boost effect anything? Opening up always, which increase more incoming low end air flow? As long the Turbo spools in enough, then torque loss will be ok?
Since boosting, burn tires like no other. Qhy not limit down torque and grow high end power
But yea, I will try this at the track tonight, to see how different it pulls. (dragstrip)
