OK the lock thing is broke off the rear drivers side seat. what needs to be done in order to get the seat out of the car?

Unbolt it from the floor...?

 

don't mind the circle on the pic. I helped someone else out there. In this pic though you can see that on the back of the seat, the part that latches the seat. Mess around with that to unlatch the seat. ** I am bad at explaining things.*** You may have to pull the carpet off the back of the seat to see it.

 

OK so I should just take a screw driver and try to get it unlatched is that what ur saying? I'll go try that now I'll let you know what the outcome is thanks again

ok so I see how it works, I looked at the opposite side. it doesn't look like there's any way to get it out without breaking the little plastic latch, has anybody been able to get it out without breaking that latch.

 

break it....you won't put the rear seat back in anyway

OK well that is just a plastic coating on a metal latch so it will not break. this is really annoying!!

 

so neither seat have a release latch.
