I have been looking at hooking up a new EX Accord w/navigation with a mp3 player. The dealer as ususal seems to be useless at any real technical information. The honda mp3 player seems to only number all the mp3's 01,02 etc and shows no song information. In theory one should be able to use the line-in and power cables that connect honda audio accessories to the navigation system too hook up an aftermarket mp3 player. One would loose the mp3 control from the navigation system, but buttons and display on the aftermarket mp3 should be sufficent. In reality I have no idea if this works.

Does anyone have any experience installing after market audio equipment on a factory installed accord navi?
