newbie on this FI scene. .. i need some wisdom for all the FI gurus out there.. will appreciate all the knowledge you may impart....

'94 teg ls 90k .. want to put out decent horse power bout 220 to 250 hp maybe.. and want to spend less than 5 g's if possible..????? still want to keep engine internals stock...

since i don't know squat bout turboing a car..

i'm thinking of getting turbo kits .... as far as i know .. greddy kit is the most complete .. am i right or are there any others better??

after the turbo kit install .. what else do i need,to be able to have a reliable car... tuning??? any other parts?? ems?? fuel mngt?/.... pls. be specific .. i'll appreciate it...

Just get a custom kit. You'll be happier. Also, you have to tap your oilpan for the oil return line. Most kits come with its own fuel management such as FMU or Blue Box. But if you go custom, just go with Uberdata or Hondata and get it tuned.

 

The Greddy is a great kit, but your not going to make 220 whp on a stock ls with it. If you want that kind of power, go with a custom setup.

If i were you, i would buy the greddy kit, get an aftermarket intercooler and blow off valve. Get hondata s100b or s200b and go tuned the thing. You would get the goal you wanted... and your still legal. Im running the same thing, and about to go hondata tuned in a week, im hoping to make about 220whp...

how long you've been running your car on the turbo kit without . .. the hondata.... any other mods besides the turbo kit, intercooler adn bov.??
