Default Who has hondata...

I'm getting the S200 system for my 12:1 Y8 build (once i get a break from school and can build it!!!!) A few of the features on the website i have a question about...

Launch Control - http://hondata.com/featureslaunch.html
Full throttle shift - http://hondata.com/featuresshift.html

Question - Since i have an 88 crx and i know i can start my car in gear without the clutch pushed down i'm guessing i dont have a clutch switch. Can i just pick one of off an 89-91 and install it? Is it that hard?

Also, am i reading correct that all these features come in the $295 price for S200?

Speed limiter removed (if applicable).
Tunable fuel and ignition tables.
Expanded fuel & ignition tables for boost.
Expanded rpm fuel & ignition tables.
A/C cutout.
Shift light.
VTEC control.
Adjustable rev limiter.
Launch control.
Full throttle shift.
Nitrous Control
Datalogging with HondaLogger software(extra cost).
Datalogging with Palmlog software (extra cost)
ROM Editor tuning software.

(S200 System - http://hondata.com/s200.html)

Thanks,
Vince

Well the 3 datalogging features you need are $180 each and $200.. And if your going to tune it yourself then you need the rom editor for $200 more.. Bringing the total to $1055..

And thats without boost.. The AEM EMS can be found for about $1300.. And has everything plus tons of other features..

If your getting it tuned there then I doubt you need the datalogging features since your not tuning it yourself.. Why not try tuning it yourself??

i dont have a dyno or wideband so wouldn't i be at a disadvantage? I'd love to attempt it but i'm afraid i don't know enough to do it right.

I tuned mine without a dyno but you will need a wideband.. If you learn more about how the entire process works and how things work together then its not hard to tune on the street..

yeah i'd like to i'm just afraid of building the engine then ruining it somehow. Maybe i'll let someone tune it this time then next project i'll attempt.

By the way any HP numbers on your turbo Y7?
