Default 04 Accord : how to improve ride

Just bough an 04 Accord 4 cyl EX-L and find the ride very rough for this type of car. I like tight handling and to be able to feel the road as much as the next guy , but for a sedan this thing rides pretty rough . Does anyone have any suggestions on what can be done to improve the ride. Shocks ? springs ? I still want to maintain the handling, if not improve it , but just want a little smoother ride.
thanks

hey, doing springs like ebach arent too great because the drop is too low; but if you were to go with a comptech suspention, the ride will be amazing and the drop isnt too low at all. (I think its like 1.5-1.75 in. drop; so no hitting the floor when you drive)

yah i was wondering that too...my suspension is decent, nice smooth ride, but their is a sway problem when cornering frontal dipping when breaking quick. i would rather not do a drop because snow is abundant where i live, so what is the next best option, just a little tightening adjustment?

I had the same problem with my "grocery getter" nose diving under hard braking and a bit too much body roll for my taste. I personally did not mind the "stiff" ride but it will get better once you put some miles on it. To fix the dive and body roll problem I installed a set of Eibach pro-kit springs. I can barely tell the difference in ride quality and they helped out alot with roll and dive. Also it takes care of that awfull wheel gap the Accords have in the front.

So let me ask another question. Would I get new springs or new shocks ? Or both to try and smooth the ride out a little bit ? Can anyone make any good recommendations ? I wouldnt mind a very slight drop < 1" either. But that is not as important as the ride quality.
Main problem is my wife is very sensitive and prolonged trips in the car make her really sick. So I am trying to find something to some happy median . Any help would be great.
Thanks

If you get a more aggresive spring rate with a lower stance you usually want to upgrade shocks as well. If you are going with the eibach pro-kits, a decent yet inexpensive shock is KYB g2's or agx's

Pro kit will only drop it like an inch but provides a more stiff ride with a higher spring rate. After a couple hundred miles the springs 'break-in' .

So far the eibachs are probably one of the better springs I have purchased and recommend them to a lot of people
