The spoon b pipe is 2.38 inches it is kind of a happy medium. I think it is a great pipe for a b16b which is what I have. I would not go 2.5 unless I was making over 200+ whp or had a 2.0 liter. It is just to big for anything less.

So on a stock JDM B20B with simple bolt-ons, you would go with 2.5inch B-pipe?

Sorry mrtrex, but you're just wrong. 2.5" piping has shown some increase over 2.38" piping on much milder setups. It's just plain better, as far as power goes.
I'm sorry to tell u mrtrex but 2.5" is far superior to 2.38" the flow is a lot better and the gains are a lot better as well. Go with the T1R I have it on my car w/ no rattle whatsoever.
