swapped them out a long time ago its still good its just like its not burning the fuel / runnin too rich, / injectors not spraying at all or somthing gettin enough spark to kill someone so cant be that....need to check ingitor which one is it on dpfi?
Walk through the whole motor install.
You needed to change out the ECU
You should be using the DPFI distributor.
The injectors are different from the MPFI one's AFAIK.
You also needed to do the DPFI to MPFI conversion, but the exact opposite.

did it all, it actually started one time and ran on its own and since then i havnt got it to start back up has to do with the injectors though i think, see i sprayed carb cleaner in it, and it started ...sorda, but i used real 'starter fuel" and it wouldnt even try to start so not sure on that part

Yeah - have to open the butterfly in the TB when doing that.
It needs air to go in with the carb/starter stuff when you try to fire it that way.
Holding down the gas pedal should open the butterfly.
Have you pulled the plugs to see if they were wet after a few tries?
You could also pull the injectors, set them in a jar or something, and then try starting the car like that. You should see gas spit out. Actually, you would only need to pull the primary injector to test like that. I believe it's the lower of the two injectors. The secondary injector only works in higher RPM ranges or when the engine is under a load (basically only works when needed).
If the fuel is working, then you need to make sure you have good compression, spark, and air.

alright its no longer a fuel problem (if it every was) it doesnt even try to start while spraying carb choke / ether...only error code im getting is injectors, but only after i try to start the car, otherwise its errorless..
to date:
spark plugs are fine (checked, all of them spark)
vacuum lines seem fine
compression : unknown
everything looks fine sept the injector error code, and ive swapped them out a few times to see if it was that and i take it, its not.

narrowed it down, when main relay is pluged in it doesnt try to start, when main relay is unplugged it tries / does for a sec or 2. and its not a bad main relay (already checked) so...anyone?
(thinkin of a wiring thing ya know)
edit: followed the wire to the ignition switch, where would the ignition switch go to the ecu?
