test only smog?

so what exactly gets done over there? they stricter than the usual smog? dyno type deal?

they are a little stricter but the main difference is they can not do any repairs, hence the term "test only". you have to go to a mechanic for any repairs needed if you fail.
the last time around for me, i had to go to a test only as well. Does anyone know what exactly determines a "test only" assignment? I mean is it just random or is it cuase i got some tickets on the car or wat??
random unless you failed a previous smog and were labeled a gross polluter then you have to go to a test only center after you fix your car. my brother had to do that once.
