anyone else havin to do a test only smog? sucks because no hookup can fix that.

 

anyone been to a test center around here at the east bay or the flats?

 

Last time i had to smog my integra and my civic, both were sent to test only

so what exactly gets done over there? they stricter than the usual smog? dyno type deal?

 

they are a little stricter but the main difference is they can not do any repairs, hence the term "test only". you have to go to a mechanic for any repairs needed if you fail.

 

the last time around for me, i had to go to a test only as well. Does anyone know what exactly determines a "test only" assignment? I mean is it just random or is it cuase i got some tickets on the car or wat??

 

random unless you failed a previous smog and were labeled a gross polluter then you have to go to a test only center after you fix your car. my brother had to do that once.

ahh ic ic... thanks for the info... then i hope next time around won't be a test only.
