Default Changing Brake Pads? Do I need to bleed as well?

I am asking because I can bleed the brakes now without the new pads, but don't want to have to do it agian when I install my new pads. So will not bleeding when I install new pads affect anything? Or should I wait to bleed the brakes until I get the new pads as well?

you can do it whenever, but you might as well wait till you put the pads on. That way you don't have to take off your wheel twice

pad and fluids are totally separate system. They work together but they don't corelate to each other. But this is what I do.

day before track
change racing brake pads, bleed brakes with good brake fluid

on the day of the track
well, have fun

after the track
bleed the brakes with ok brake fluids, change brake pads back to stock
