My particular Honda has an appetite for driveaxles and is too stiff for autocross. Good luck getting some folks out there though, New Bern and an autocross could make for a pretty fun weekend.

A group of us are leaving Wilmington at 6:30AM . we are meeting at the citgo on the corner of market/17 and military cutoff. There are now at least 10 cars that are meeting up there

I was there, didnt run, just went to spectate. It was a nice turn out. I think I heard someone say 40 cars?

It was really my first auto X event, I fell in love with it. (the wife didnt which sucked ) Its everything I thought it was. I wish I couldve drove the course.

Had it not been thundering, I wouldve stayed to the end. but with no blower, I had to try to beat the rain. It didnt work.

 

I was there today.I was in the black ITR,I ran 3 times.This was my first auto x ever.I guess I did ok for a first timer.I have a few pics but they are kinda of shitty .

 

I love those ITR's! I want one.

Get a type R or a 99-00 Si? I know, hands down, type R. but there is a nice little price difference....

That was my first autocross Ive attended. I didnt race, just watched. We had to leave when it started thundering.....

I think I have some bad *** pictures of the Type R's,I will get them on here, later this afternoon. I put the digi on the sport mode, so it took pictures till I let off the button, some cool ****.

does anyone know of any more events going on by them.
also, have you been to any SCCA schools? do they give you any **** when you register, about it, or do you just go out there and drive? thats why I didnt drive, I didnt wanna go through all of that...

 

Yeah it was a great day of autoxing 'till the rain/lighting ruined it Things ran real smooth and our course designers created a course that gave you the shakes after you were finished. The lot is small be we are getting better at using what we have.

Saw alot of Hondas out at the event but helping out with running of the event didnt give me a chance to say hey to anyone. I have never seen that many ITR's at one event around here, it was cool to see them.

I was the one in the Black 1G DSM with the big mustang rims (ESP 9). Car ran great all day (except for my neverending brake problem ). My punk *** co-driver beat me by .3 of sec for the ESP win.

We finished 4th and 5th repectively overall Raw times (5th and 7th Pax, I think).

This is the last year I am running the DSM, Im building an 88 CRX Si for STS2 and HDPE, so thats why I am here

your DSM was sick! I loved that car. It looks like it did really well. I will be involved with the next autoX. I will run either my civic or the CRX. my civic is 100% stock, the CRX...well check my sig. but I am gonna run in the next event.

those are the best ones I have, I have a vid, thats ok of the black type r, no sound, but its awsome to watch it go through the turns, its just a short 15sec clip. I think it could be emailed, if you have high speed internet. Let me know

Good to see you guys had fun despite the rain. I'd have gone but I got in at 11 the night before from Jamaica.
