need some advice i can get ls motor for $600
i need some advice i went to get my car inspected (by the way it's a 92 civic cx) and one of the guys working there came up to me and asked me if i have an LS motor under the hood i said no then he mentioned that a friend of his is selling an LS motor for $600. im not too sure if i should buy it i dont know if the motor is legit,
i dont know what shape the motor is in. my question to you uys would be if i go take a look at the motor what should i look out for to see if theyre just trying to dump an illegal motoron me or blown motor any advice would help thanks.

Major thing, Check for oil leaks!! this can be a problem as I have learned in the past. $600 is hard to beat! I'm assuming this includes the tranny, axels, ecu, and all the goodies. If your going to build the motor then milage shouldnt really be that big of a concern. The stock LS mounts will be fine for the swap also. I'd go for it.
thanks for the avdice im not sure if for 600 it include the ecu, intake, and exahuast manifolds he didint specify that much but he gave me his card to call later after he talks to his friend
