Hatch back shift linkage VS. Sedan shift linkage length

Hatch back shift linkage VS. Sedan shift linkage length
ok i picked up a EG hatch, swapped in a d16z6 with sedan shift linkage, 4th gear is a little hard to get into, could that be cause of shift linkage length? is there a diffrence in length between the HB and the Sedan/Coupe linkage length?
