Did all jdm motors, sohc and most dohc come with black valve covers??

 

yes most of them do. the ls,b16,b16a2, the only ones with red valve covers were b16b,b18c5,and maybe the h22

 

well if you think about it almost every honda valve cover was black besides the itr and some silver single cam valve covers...

best way to tell is the engine code on the block..

jdm motors do not have the number at end b18c, b18b

usdm does though b18c1, b18c5, b18b1

 

You won't find a vin number on jdm motors.
