Default Moved to higher altitude: need help!

I have an AEM cold air intake in my 03 Accord Coupe and when I moved up to Northern CO, it was just not as responsive. It feels like a turbo actually. The dealership said all that stuff is computerized and there is no way to adjust the computer. I unhooked the battery and that seemed to help a bit. Any other tricks? Thanks!

Well I know in denver its roughly 5400ft up ...so if you are coming from a lower elevationit will seem like it, but after a while you will get used to it as will your car.

I just love going to lower elevation and picking on other cars

I agree with VRD. I remember going to visit my grandparents in Ft. Collins a few years back. My 91 Accord lost its throttle response, but it did improve my gas mileage. If I would have been up there very long, I could have adjusted my timing, but I didn't since I was only there 1 week.

On your 03, you might be able to buy an edit program, and readjust the computer, but I really don't have any experience with this.

The only other thing I could think of, is to disconnect a sensor that will send the car into open loop - something like an O2 sensor. This might make it run a little better, but I just can't say for sure.
