damn those are wide - what size are they?

 

205/50/15's. although i hear it's actually about 215 by other tire makers standards, the sidewalls were so stiff, that after they were installed, the sidewalls had all sorts of KY jelly lookin stuff on them so they could squeeze them on.

 

my next tires once the p7000s wear out...still a long way to go.

 

I got the same size today. Damn you beat me to the punch. I ordered mine on monday, and picked them up today. So no trouble for NC in getting these tires. I also did not wait for my old ones wear out. Anybody want a set of semi used kuhmos?

 

xjohnx, can you post a pic of them on the stock rims? i am curious as to how much they flare out on stock rims. Thanks.

Dyke Tire on "N skipwith" (Right next to Crown Acura), was 60 bucks mounted/balanced.

How do these tires compare to the stock tires? Whats the difference?

 

Good job. I got these a long time ago. By far one of the best street tires available.

 

I will have mine in the spring!

 

these are way better than stock:
- grips/handles better
- cheaper
- lasts longer (won't chunk out on a track)

Yea, basically, these tires rock. I've had the 205/50's on my car for about 4 mos. now and they get better by the day!!

yes and no, i have a 93 cx beater i'll be driving the majority of the time, the r will be driven only occasionaly.

Do not drive in the rain

After talking with the falken guys at SEMA, they recommended not to use them in the rain or wet weather of any kind.

 

I drove them in the rain lots of time this summer and fall, **I** thought they were better than the RE010s. What exactly, did those Faulken representatives tell you, I'm very interested.
