Default Should TDC all be lined up already?

I got piston #1 to TDC so my question is: Is everything else that needs to be at TDC, already lined up to TDC because the crank pulley is? Thanks this is my first timing belt change.

yes, it should be, verify with the marks on the flywheel and/or cam gear(s).

ok thanks- how do i get to the flywheel? Anything I have to remove to see the mark on the flywheel? I just started taking stuff apart but I haven't really begun the actual changing process.

there should be a little plug on the front side of the tranny (black in color)...pull it off and look down through there...

oh ok thanks. I'm assuming that it is very crucial to have everything lined up correctly in order to successfully change the timing belt. Is this true?
