header/sensor question!!
ok i have a z6 and i just got a dc header. the probem is i seem to have a sensor on the front of my stock header as well as a sensor in the back of the header exit. so this means there are 2 sensors for the stock header. what should i do about this sensor in the front? ... since i only have the o2 bung in the dc header exit.

yes there are 2 sensors one is the primary sensor which is in your header, and the other is the secondary senor which is in your cat. Just take Primary O2 sensor which is the one located on the front of the header and extend the wiring so that you can redirect it under your dizzy and down under your Intake manifold so that you will be able to screw it in to your new dc header

You shouldn't have this problem with a Z6. A Z6 is an OBD I ECU and only has one O2 sensor. But anyway, I have a '97 Civic and I had to do the same thing, just extend the wires from your primary O2 sensor (the one that is connected just after the exhaust manifold) and hang the other one somewhere where it won't get exposed to a whole lot of weather (i.e. inside your intake). I wouldn't really recommend this, but you won't throw a code. You'll run really rich, though. If at all possible, put a cat on that bitch and extend the secondary wires also to behind the cat, this will put it nearly back to stock.

The header should come with the connector to extend your one stock o2 sensor to the bung on the dc header. Don't forget to use antiseize on the threads.

ok so the primary o2 sensor is on the runner of the header, and i have to extend the wires on it so that it will screw in on the bung near the exit of the DC header?
i got my header used... so where can i find a connector?

yes. run the wires so that you can screw your primary in the exit hole of your dc header
wanted to ask you in response to your signature. you really think there is a 98-01 gsr or type r with less than 15k miles on it out there? if there is, do you think someone is gonna sell it to you for a decent price? i dont think so.

***im the market for an 98+ GSR or ITR need less than 90k miles // hit me up with what u got*** (less than 15k)
less than 15k = cost
anyone know where i can find the extender with the connector?
