Hi Guys

just wondering if any of you own a transtop del sol 92 i do but the roof and boot have died on me and i have no info on how to fix it, i have changed the gears and people tell me it should have been as simple as that but i have done that and it still doesn't work, nothing works i can do it manually but not with a push of a button any more, i can't seem to find anyone who can help with info, just wondering if you guys might know something that will help me out, i just finshed doing it up and now its stuffed. both roof and boot don't work.

please help anyone please

 

did ou try to run wires to the motor directly to see if the motor is working

no i havnt tried anything i am too worried that i will stuff it more,
no i don't have rear fog lights, they are pretty cool the electris roofs when they work that is.

It may be a problem with the transtop switch (button). Some 2nd gen CRX's suffer from corrosion on the contacts, preventing the sunroof from opening, that might be the problem. Try hard wiring to test it. If it is the switch (button) use a pencil eraser or electrical cleaner to clean the corrosion off of the contacts.
