I need to install a new driver-side, seatbelt; just the part that's in the floor. How do I do it? Do I have to remove the seat? Anyplace I can go to see some diagrams?

If its a manual it should only be a couple of bolts. Go to your local junkyardand pick up that piece for like $5 and switch them. Very simple.

 

Do you need to replace it because it's damaged in some way, or did it just stop latching? If it is undamaged but just won't latch take it to the Honda dealer. Honda provides a lifetime warranty on normal failure of seatbelts. Check into it before you spend any money.

It won't latch and the plastic thing around it has broken off. Do you think it's worth a try?

Just wanted to let you know I took it to a Honda dealer and they did install a new belt for free! thanks for the info!

Now, do you know any Accord clubs in Southern California, esp. San Diego, where I could post a "for sale" message? I need to sell it. It's an 89 with 84K miles on it.
