Default cross-threaded spark plug

recently purchased a 97 accord. i went to replace the plugs and the very first one in the back seems to be cross-threaded. i was getting it loose then all of a sudden it got tight again. i dont want to force anything or break it in there so what would be the best way to get that out?

if it's cross threaded, than that's it.

can't really fix it unless you gonna swap the head.

samething happened to a guy at autoshop, i think he's still running that
geo metro three cylinder swap on his 2.2 accord
