Default si vs hf tranny

im kinda confussed with the gear ratio on the hf and si.... if the hf have a longer gear would it mean its better for freeway racing??

even if the HF tranny has long gears and was good for freeway recing why do you want to do wangan in a 4-banger car. If you want to do freeway racing get a 6-12 cylinder.

Shorter gears better for "freeway" ... "racing" because you're up at the high RPMs in the Si transmission. Taller gears in the HF doesn't mean you can get to 200 mph on it

Yeah youd need alot of torque to overcome the Force of the wind on your car. A Hf would only make it worse. lol SI would still be better.

If you had a 1700Hp CRX you could do 220mph with the HF tranny, of course getting a D-series engine to make that kinda power might be kinda hard, hehe.
