Obviously if you turn off the ac it'll give you hp. However is this the case even with the AC switched off and how much gain we talking?

If so I got a 96 accord EX, any idea what size belt i need to drive the alternator only?

 

well if you take off the AC i dont know how much HP you will gain, but there will be less stress on the engine and you will have less weight, but your *** is gonna be hot...

 

Doesn't have to be permanent, I can swap out that belt in 30 min.

Anybody else know how much it would help to disconnect the AC belt?

 

i'm a/c and p/s less on my h22a accord...i never had the p/s pump hooked up, but the a/c was for a little while...it's made a slightly smoother (somewhat noticeable) acceleration...nothing crazy though...
