this is the problem that i have. i have a 97 dx w/a b series. everytime i accellerate the car shakes. it only happens rite when i get it in gear and get on the gas. it doesn't do it when im cruising. it also happens when im in 5th going bout 80 n i get on the gas. i think it might be the mount bushings cause they're pretty worn. ne one got ne ideas?

Check to see if your lug nuts are nice and tight. I had a similar problem that got progressively worse to where I couldn't go more than 45 mph without the car violently shaking. I had lost a lug nut and two of the other ones were loose.

 

yeah i thought that was the problem at first but its not. i check them n they're still torque down to specs.(80 ft. pounds)

 

Id go with the mounts

I had my b16 in my hatch before my h22 went in and when i would get on it,it would shake and vibrate like the motor was gonna drop out
When i pulled it out to swap motors i noticed that my rear mount was shot and my driverside was ripped when the nut was taken off just kindda fell apart

 

Also check to make sure your axles are installed properly and there are no problems with them.

I busted an axle one time and it still worked but would vibrate when I accelerated. Just my $.02
