Default Srange sound in gear box or tranny..

This sound is audible constantly, except for the moment when I squeeze out clutch pedal. What can it be? It can the bearing? THEN what?

Could be the input shaft bearing (not the same as throw out bearing) but its hard to tell with ur description. The sound should be noticable at idle, then when u push the clutch in, it should go away.

Ok. Some say the noise also sounds like a helicopter. What u are goin to need to do is drop the tranny, split the case open, replace the input shaft bearing AND seal, reseal the case, put back in car. If u let it go long enough, the seal will eventually give out and u will leak oil like crazy and ur clutch will start to slip (due to oil on the disc). You should see some of the input shaft bearings that i have replaced...they came out in pieces.

Your best bet is to search on hondaautomotiveparts.com or something similar to try and find it.
