Car trouble!
All right here's the situation. My car is throwing a code 45. Every time I start my car I have to run the car at 3000 rpms to get it in the stoich area of my gauge before I can start to drive the car. If I don't do this and start to take off it bogs out and won't go anywhere, it just revs up. When I do run the car at 3000 it throw the cell 45, but this is the only way I can start to drive. THe car is turbo'ed and I'm running RC 440 injectors, plus have the biggest gauge in my AEM FPR. I don't know what to do. I keep trying to mess with the VAFC but can't seem to get it right. I know I'm running to rich, but need some help to fix this problem. Should I go with a smaller gauge in the fuel pressure regulator? Any advice would help.
Code 45 - Fuel system too rich or lean
This probably means your fuel system is out of tune. You'll definitely need to check your timing out, check that FPR, everything that deals with delivering fuel to the system. DON'T MESS WITH THE VAFC IF YOU ARE NOT A TRAINED PROFESSIONAL THAT TUNES MOTORS. You probably added a **** load of fuel into your motor and is probably flooding it badly. Check the condition of your plugs too since your fuel mix is out of whack.
