Default Seized rear caliper, not sure how to fix.

The other night I was driving home and I began to smell my brakes burning and pulled over and noticed that my driver side rear caliper was smoking. Somehow I guess it locked up even tho i really wasnt on the brakes that much. Now i take off the caliper and it is sorta seized and I cant really turn it either direction that much to set it. Shoule I try to pull out the piston and clean it/grease it? buy a rebuilt kit or a new caliper? This thing was super hot when I pulled over to inspect it that night so do you think the heat could have ruined it? What you guys think?

get a new caliper. the rebuild kits are a hassle and never completely seal right in my experience. a new caliper is a cheap investment in knowing it is done right, has a aparts warranty, and is much easier to deal with than rebuilding one.
