Default question about chassis codes

i read some where that you can find your chassis code on in your vin number example my vin starts off JHMED9.... that means my chassis code is ED9 (by the way i have a 88 crx si). but i saw the EF Squad shirts for sale and they look like a crx also. is the diffrence between the chassis codes because of the years like 88-89 and ED's and 90-91 are EF's? just wondering

thanks
nate

no...us and some european are ed's. asian market and some european are ef. the whole ef thing came about when people decided calling their body style by it's japanese designation was cool.

i have an ed6-canadian built no less and am proud of it.
