alright i started my car today and it ran for a couple seconds then it shut off...i tried restarting it but it never turned over..i think it has to do with the fuel system cuz it sounds like ther is no fuel pumpin to turn the engine over....simlilar to a kill swithc when it wont start...what do u guyst think it is...maybe a faulty fuel pump...i checked all the wires to my kill switches and everything was ok...so im lost...i dont wannna take it somewhere if i can fix it myself...


i can give more info if needed to address the prob...please...any help would be great

 

see if you are getting spark. if not start with the dizzy. if you are, make sure all your connections are good. if they are, take the fitting off of the fuel filter and see if there is pressure, if there isnt, then start addressing the fuel issue.

 

how can it be spark related...it started then it shut off like it ran out of gas or somethin...

could it be a fault fuel pump?

 

fuel pump. clogged fuel filter, Main PGMFI relay
