SUSPENSION QUESTION
Do 4th gen civics, (88-91) have the same double wishbone setup as the later 5th & 6th gen civics do? I know skunk2's use the same P/N# for all years, if the setups are different how so and which are better?
they all have the double wish bone excluding the newer body styled civic(which now have a macphearson styled susp.).but there are some differences like in the newer models and the 88-91 civic/crx SIR the strut is received into the rear lower control arms as apposed to the strut sliping over it and bolting in...but they are all similar.
the skunks are kinda universal in between the years in the way of design...the only diff is the heavier honda's(tegra,civic 4dr) had a stiffer spring rate.so you could cheat the system and to accuire a stiff a#s spring you could order a set of skunks for a heavier model and equip them to your ef...

I took off my Tokico blues from my 99si and put them on my 90 civic hb. All I had to use was the 92-95 front forks to make the front shocks fit. The rears bolted right up. This is just a FYI, it may not even be relevent.
