Weird wiring problem?

Default Weird wiring problem?

When I turn on my headlights my cluster lights up, but my radio does not light up, when I turn off my headlights my radio lights up? what happend with that? I no obviously something is wrong with the wiring, but where do I start?

it's a dimmer... it's suppossed to do that in the daytime you don't need headlights but if the radio were dim, it would be hard to see your radio frequency and stuff... at night, your headlights are on, but if the radio face were intensified, it would be a little too bright.

or you have the dimmer lead from the car hooked up and need to be using the Illumination lead. If you used a harness adaptor, try the other orange wire.

I think it's just a wiring error or something, I have had a GSR dash in my civic for 4 years now, and it just started doing this for some reason, really boggling my mind, I think one of the illumination wires has a open loop
