Default GReddy E-Manage : Anyone actually *used* it?? !

any opinions on the E-Manage? how does it control fuel delivery and timing? in the shitty old fashioned way by spoofing the MAP and CYP sensors, or by actually modifying the signals coming out of the ECU?

can it adjust fuel delivery and timing based on boost levels in addition to RPM and TPS? it seems wayyyy to cheap for what it claims to do.

Yes, on the GBC. The vendor says they are already shipping the units. Hmmm...

it isnt that hard to make it react to boost as opposed to TPS. Hell you can do that with a VAFC

I saw the e-manage in a ad for sum rice mag like sesame street. It was for Options Auto Salon and it retails for like 379. It says it has a built in VTEC controller and it can be tuned with a laptop with windows-based software.

yea its supposed to be really similar to a V-AFC with the exception on the laptop part, I saw them ready to ship on GBC for just over $300. Software and computer harness aren't supposed to be out till like December though, I say wait a little while till more info is out on it and see how it is, but otherwise looks like its gonna be pretty tite.

so the gist is that nobody has actually used it yet...

what i really want to know is : can it control the injectors by directly manipulating the signal sent by the EC Uto the ICM or does it just BS around with the MAP and TPS values going INTO the ECU?
