Default help accord owners!

im helping my friend install sony cd player in his 94 accord. how in the world do u mount it into the console? the car has a bracket that mounts to a tab on the stock radio but the aftermarket stereo doesnt. how did u guys install urs? i need this info asap as we are doing the install as we speak.

theres this adapter thing u have to buy from a store in order to fit the deck in there. its like $15 i think. good luck i ran into the same problem in my g/f 96 accord.

we ghetto rigged it cuz my friend didnt wanna drive back to bestbuy or radio shaq. we also had to ghetto rig the black cd holder thingy because it was made to bolt to the stock radio but couldnt on aftermarket cd player...thanx man.

The kit makes it easy , it can be done without the kit ,a little harder, in both cases you need to use the oem backbrace support bracket. 94

All u need to do is go to any retail electronics store and pick up the American International HONK-828 dash kit it comes with the bracket that screws into the kit- perfect fit every time. I am a pro alarm/audio installer and used this kit on tons of accords.
