i wasnt going to start the project anytime soon. The motor is just going to sit in my garage for like 6-12 months. I was wondering in the mean while is it ok for the motor to just sit there? do i gotta put oil in it or any kind of maintenece while it's just sitting there? I got this motor cause it was a deal only for 400 complete with <U></U>everything. thanks

i think it should be fine! mine sit in my garage for 5-6 months before i did the swap

 

I would put some oil on the cams or some kind of lube, if you leave cams sit out to long they will tend to rust a little.

 

Mine b18a has been sitting out for about a year now. It looks fine to me. I covered it with a trash bag and it's been sitting out under a carport. Once I found out ls/vtec wouldn't pass cali smog I semi scrapped the block and just let it sit out there.
