Considering buying a RSX-S
Hey, this is my first Honda/Acura purchase. I have been considering getting an 2004 Acura RSX-S. I was wondering if anyone has any opinions for or against my decision to get this vehicle.
http://www.clubrsx.com everything you need to know about the car is in there.
i just got my Type-S (black) 3 weeks ago with 13k miles on it. It is sweet. If you can afford it without really being broke, i fully support your decision.
pros - sexy, new, and very clean looking
decently quick for being stock ( i have heard 14's just with new, stickier tires)
nice flowing interior
good parts base
very nice to drive in
cons - MacPherson struts aren't as good as Honda's previous Double Wishbone suspension
No tilt feature for the moon roof (i am sooooo picky
)
hope that helps somewhat. good luck!

I think my 04 RSX-S has saved my life once or twice.
ex. Some dummy didn't stop at an intersection BEFORE THE WHITE LINE, causing me to swirve away and recovering really quickly...
This car does wonders when hard cornering is required.
If your choice was not an RSX-S, what would be the alternative?

Not sure what my alternative is yet. I am still weighing my income and how much money I am going to have to invest. If I have enough to work with im going to definately get the RSX if I dont have as much I may look at a 2004 Accord coupe.
The accord coupe will almost run you the same if not more. Get the type S and call it a day. I love mine. It's the best hatch out there to date. Best in class
There's no other car like it. I mean, you can get a WRX and be faster but with out as much quality on the interior. The accord coupe with the v6 is way faster, but costs like 3-4K more. The 4cylinder isn't worth it IMO. Don't be a fool, the type-S is cool!
And who cares about everybody and their brother driving one, just make yours unique
Just remember, they're changing the design on next years model.

to me the wrx interior looks way better than the rsx interior. except for the lighting color, but other than that the overall rocks out rsx. but thats just my opinion hehe.
