Default gen 6 (Accord 2000 ex v6) AC stopped working all of a sudden

Hi,
Need some help from all of you out there on my Honda Accord 2000 V6 Ex model.
This is what happened I was driving on a rainy day with my AC perfectly working. I had to cross a street filled with water and as soon as I came out of the puddle my windows starting fogging and later on I found out that AC had stopped working. The blower is working fine but it is blowing somewhat hot air instead of cold air even though its been set to the coldest temp.
Any guess or any idea what could be the problem and how can I get it fixed? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Josh

Could be several things.

The first thing I'd do is pressure test your AC system. If you had a leak in your AC system, you could have lost enough freon to prevent the compressor from starting. If your AC system holds pressure, it's probably bad news.

I'd start looking on ebay for a used AC compressor.

How can I pressure test my AC System? Can I do it on my own?

first of all, check to see if you still have your AC belt.

I got a can of R-134a.. which had a gauge. I tested the Ac unit (the low end) with that gauge and it was pointing to the RED ZONE on the gauge (I don't know what it means) so I didn't charge the AC. At the time of the test the AC was on and was cranking at the coldest temp.
