H22A swap into 99 accord problems. Converting OBD2 to OBD1
I finally had the shop do my turboed H22A swap into my 99 honda accord coupe. All they had to do is wire the ecu in. I payed them in full (BIG MISTAKE) and now they are slacking for the past month on wiring my ECU. They got the converter thing that converts the OBD2 to OBD1 but it wouldnt work. They are now hardwiring it wire by wire and it is taking forever because they left it there for the past few weeks. I havent been able to drive my car for the past 3 months. I am getting soooo frustrated and anxious. I want to just go there and wire it myself. Anyone have any advice, or know how i can do this? Thank you very much
depending who does it, it takes time. it shouldnt take three months though, thats horse ****. wiring obd2-->1 is a beeyotch. ask them why they are so retarded and cant do work efficiently. if you payed them in full, ask for a partial return for downtime or something

i would not waste my money on one of those "ebay specials". i would do it myself becuase i work hard for my money. 150 bucks is, after taxes, around 30 hours of work at my job. or i could wire it myself in less than 30 hours and learn some new things, and have the satisfaction of knowing i saved 150 bucks.
ps-not everyone pays for stuff in cash, there is credit.

I can't believe that you would bicker about a meezly $75. Suppose you screwed up the wiring and fried the ECU. It would cost a hell of alot more to replace that. Don't be so cheap, buy the damn conversion
And for the original poster who is getting jerked around by the shop, sorry buddy, Maybe you can go there and lay down the LAW!!!!
