Which tires are more important? Front/Back?
I have two new tires and two old ones. Where should I put the good ones in the front or in the back? I would think the front because I front wheel drive vehicle. But I also heard that the back is more important. Let me know.

Well ehelbush that link isn't working.
Anyways, yes, in our cars the front tires do the accelerating, braking and steering, but it is safer to have the better tires in the rear, especially in the rain. On public roads, should you loose traction, you want your front tires to break loose first for safe and benign understeer (aka pushing or plowing). If the worse tires are on the rear, your back end is going to break loose first. Now we all know the way to recover from this type of spin is to get on the gas, but on a public road you'll probably be doing your spin recovery into oncoming traffic.

I'd rather have them on the front even with a RWD car. Better handling. But even if the rear comes out, if you have a FWD car, just give it some gas and it will straighten right up. Besides, I dont **** around when its wet. Also, its better in front due to hydroplaning. Good tires will go right through a deep puddle while bad ones will skip right over it causing loss of control.
